Location:
Plano, TX — Full-time and on-site for the first 90 days for onboarding and training. After successfully completing the probationary period and with attorney approval, the role may transition to a hybrid schedule with 1 remote day per week.
Note:
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, litigation legal assistant, or equivalent legal support professional. Commercial or business litigation experience is strongly preferred, while bankruptcy and mixed-practice support experience are valuable advantages.

Job Description
- Provide dedicated support to attorneys handling litigation, bankruptcy, and transactional matters
- Manage demanding and frequently changing priorities with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Coordinate attorney calendars, deadlines, filings, meetings, and time-sensitive commitments
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, trustees, and outside parties
- Draft, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, correspondence, contracts, corporate documents, and other legal materials
- Coordinate document execution, court filings, and service while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with pleadings, discovery, deposition materials, hearings, and trial exhibits
- Track state and federal court deadlines, rules, and filing requirements
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
- Prepare and assemble bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, and related documents
- Track bankruptcy deadlines, claims bar dates, and filing requirements
- Coordinate Section 341 meetings, bankruptcy hearings, and related proceedings
- Monitor bankruptcy case dockets using PACER and CM/ECF
- Anticipate attorney needs and independently determine which matters require immediate attention
- Communicate proactively regarding workload, deadlines, priorities, and capacity
Qualifications
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal, litigation legal assistant, or equivalent legal support experience
- Law firm experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong legal document preparation, formatting, proofreading, and filing skills
- Knowledge of court procedures, legal terminology, and deadline management
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize competing demands
- Professional, polished client and attorney communication skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Commercial or business litigation experience strongly preferred
- Bankruptcy experience is a plus
- Mixed litigation, bankruptcy, and transactional practice support strongly preferred
- Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or paralegal certificate preferred
