About the Company:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the primary point of contact for incoming requests within our department, managing various word processing-related projects. This role involves tasks such as formatting, proofreading, editing, document styling, printing, and converting or saving documents to images (PDF).

- Salary: $22.20/hour + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus
Available Shifts:
- - Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- - Mon - Fri 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
- - Mon - Fri 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, assign, distribute, prioritize, track, and expedite workload within the department
- Interface with requesters to gather detailed information, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the nature and requirements of assignments
- Analyze requests to determine the appropriate resource for task completion and engage them accordingly
- Direct requests to the proper resources and coordinate with local and off-site office services
- Assist with proofreading tasks and quality control analysis during periods of heavy volume
- Deliver projects within negotiated timeframes
- Perform other related duties and assist with special projects as assigned
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all firm-supported software packages
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet pressing deadlines
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work products
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of legal experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Prior document processing experience in a team environment
- Knowledge of legal terminology is preferred but not required
- Transcription experience is a plus
