Level 300 Superintendent Conveyor Installation

The Level 300 Superintendent at DCI is responsible for overseeing large-scale conveyor installation projects from start to finish. This senior-level role requires proven leadership experience on complex job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The Superintendent will lead field operations and serve as the primary onsite representative, ensuring seamless execution of installation plans in alignment with DCI’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage all phases of conveyor installation projects onsite, including mechanical, electrical, and structural scopes of work.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for field coordination, communication, and issue resolution with subcontractors and DCI project teams.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce compliance with DCI and OSHA safety standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to guide installation activities.
• Conduct site assessments to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to installation schedules.
• Coordinate material deliveries, inventory management, and equipment staging to prevent project delays.
• Maintain detailed daily field reports and ensure accurate project documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior site reps and field staff while reinforcing DCI culture and standards.
• Proactively identify risks, site challenges, or scope conflicts and escalate to project leadership as needed.
• Assist with project turnover and punch list completion, ensuring full client satisfaction.

• 7+ years of experience in conveyor or material handling system installations, with at least 3 years in a superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Deep understanding of industrial installation practices, safety regulations, and construction sequencing.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise crews on active job sites.
• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and project reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel extensively and remain on project sites for extended durations.
• OSHA 30 Certification required; First Aid/CPR and rigging certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or trade school training preferred.
