Lia Hyundai Albany - Automotive Service Technician(s)- Level A and Level A+

Lia Hyundai Albany is seeking a Level A/A+ level Automotive Technician to join our team. Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies & equipment including service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $60K-$100K+

SIGN ON BONUS: Available up to $5000 if Hyundai Platinum Certified

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience required


• Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience required


• State Inspection certification required


• Any Hyundai training or certifications preferred


• ASE Certification recommended


• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment


• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications


• Computer skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Must have clean & valid driver's license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes


• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment


• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.


• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
