Job Description - Liability Defense Attorney

Mid-size, AV-rated, civil litigation firm is seeking an experienced bodily injury liability defense attorney to work a flexible, hybrid schedule for its Miami office. Established for 40 years with 8 offices total. Great opportunity to advance your career with a partnership track including equity as a shareholder for attorneys interested in growth. Firm values work life balance with low billables and an Events Committee planning leadership events throughout the year as well as a Diversity Committee bringing in guest speakers. There are also optional monthly women's meetings with complimentary lunch and mentorship programs for anyone interested.

Requirements

-3-15 years relevant litigation experience (candidates with 8-15 years of experience can be considered for a non-equity partner in name or of counsel role)

-Defense experience involving either trucking, cranes, construction defect, products liability, medical malpractice and premises liability.

-Experience in defending and taking depositions of liability and damages experts, parties and fact witnesses

-Experience attending court hearings, mediations and trial preparation.

-Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery and compliance with guideline reporting and contemporaneous billing.
