Job Summary: Assist the Accounting Manager with basic accounting functions to include invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, contract management, and basic office duties for a small but growing government contractor.

Duties:

• Maintenance of the JMD, Library Staff collection and user areas
• Retrieval and dissemination of library materials
• Processing of materials for the Justice Library collection
• Maintenance of collection records and inventory
• Distribution of materials for the Library System
• Response to information inquiries.
• Maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Provision of administrative, statistical, and special reports
• Barcoding and de-barcoding of materials.
• Acquisitions Support
• Digitization (includes scanning and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) processes and other processing of DOJ materials from print to electronic formats displayed on the Library’s website and/or the DOJNet.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in software troubleshooting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with integrated library systems (ILS) or willingness to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills

This position will start out as a part-time position and can turn into a full-time position for the right candidate.
