Library Technician - Urgent Position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes requests for research information and compiles information on related topics.
  
• Cataloging, filing, shelving, and retrieving of documents.
  
• Moves, copies, and recovers files and folders in Windows environment.
  
• Scanning documents as required.
  
• MUST be able to lift 30-50 pounds repetitively.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a library or document collection setting, including cataloging, filing, or shelving, and retrieving of documents helpful.
  
• Capable of moving, copying, and recovering large numbers of files and folders in Windows environment.
  
• Experience running a high-speed scanner.
  
• Demonstrates high quality work and detail oriented.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
  
• Experience in the field or in a related area.
  
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a related field.
  

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
