Job Summary :
Working within APL's unique and cutting edge model, BCBAs support the clinical development of APL students through the creation and oversite of individualized, student- centered, strengths-based treatment plans, and measurement of progress toward established goals. BCBAS work across the APL community in grades K - 12 providing clinical training and task supervision for classroom behavior technicians, collaboratively teaching students directly, and participating in clinical department and classroom team meetings. Our BCBAs are a committed, fun loving group of individuals who take our students learning and care seriously. Since our restructuring in 2022 we have emerged as a safe space for students to be who they are regardless of diagnosis, background, or skillset.
As part of a neurodiversity affirming clinic we are not here to cure our students of their diagnosis but rather act as their learning partners enabling them to find learning pathways that are meaningful and relevant to them. We're a fast-paced work environment that is always striving to put our students and colleagues first and use innovative measures that look at quality of life; not just standard assessments.

Write robust, individualized, and data-driven ABA therapy plans for students that increase the necessary skills to access their education
Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with agency policies and funder requirements
Prepare and update associated program materials (including program descriptions, data collection materials, data recording and analysis measures, program implementation materials, visual supports, etc.)
