Licensed Boiler Installer

Ostlund A Service Company is seeking a Licensed Boiler Installer to join our Michigan team. We’re looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction — someone who’s ready to handle both commercial and residential boiler projects across Southeast Michigan.

About the Role

As a Licensed Boiler Installer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of hot water and steam boilers and related systems. You’ll work closely with our plumbing, HVAC, and electrical teams to deliver reliable solutions that meet state code and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain hot water and steam boilers for residential and commercial clients
• Perform start-ups, safety checks, and efficiency testing to ensure systems run properly
• Diagnose and resolve boiler and control issues with accuracy and efficiency
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with other trades to complete integrated system installs
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and service records
• Follow all state and company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Valid State of Michigan Boiler Installer License (required)
• Boiler Repairer License a plus
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on boiler installation or service experience
• Knowledge of hydronic and steam systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
