Licensed Civil Engineer Designer

Moody Engineering is seeking experienced, growth-minded Licensed Civil Engineers to complement our fast-growing site development and roadway team in Columbus, Ohio.  Working at Moody Engineering provides a unique working environment due to our highly diverse project portfolio and personnel. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Design/draft engineering plans for retail, commercial, higher-education, residential and municipal developments

Perform site grading and drainage, utility design, parking lot design, storm sewer design, and stormwater management calculations

Provide advice and creativity resolve any potential problems/deficiencies quickly

Take a project from due diligence through construction

Coordinate execution of projects with our staff, our clients and our project team members

Ideal Candidate Skills Include:

5+ years of experience

3+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Infrastructure Suite, or Microstation

Experience with site development documents and permitting preferred with City of Cleveland or ODOT.

Strong Construction Administration background

Experience with tunnels

Strong analytical and communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams with minimal oversight

Education/ Qualifications:

Professional Engineer License (PE) for the state of Ohio required

BSCE from an ABET accredited College or University required
