Licensed Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Supervisor to lead our substance abuse and mental health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, a passion for guiding and mentoring clinicians, and expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities including Medication Assisted Treatment (M.A.T.). As a Licensed Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee clinical practices, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster an environment of professional growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality client care and supporting staff development.

Duties

• Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed and unlicensed clinicians, supporting their professional development and ensuring adherence to ethical standards.


• Conduct regular case reviews, offering constructive feedback to enhance clinical skills and treatment effectiveness.


• Ensure all clinical documentation complies with organizational policies and licensing board requirements and Joint Commission Accreditation standards.


• Facilitate ongoing training sessions on topics such as trauma informed care, psychopharmacology, and motivational interviewing to expand staff competencies.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.


• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to elevate service delivery.


• Maintain current knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment and cooccurring regulations, best practices, and emerging therapeutic approaches.


• Promote a positive, inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Experience

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Professional or equivalent licensure with active state certification.


• Demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision within a cooccurring substance abuse treatment setting preferably with knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment.


• Proven expertise in various therapeutic modalities including CBT, Trauma Informed Care, and Motivational Interviewing


• Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles as they relate to integrated treatment approaches is highly desirable.


• Strong understanding of Medication Assisted Treatment regulations, documentation standards, and ethical guidelines.


• At least three years of direct clinical practice experience with diverse populations.


• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support clinical staff in achieving professional excellence.
