Summary: The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) position is responsible for the behavioral health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, in a pediatric residential facility for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include providing support and behavior health services to individuals served by developing behavior plans, providing individual and group therapy, and coordinating, behavior health care with the facility’s Medical Director and other professionals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises Behavior Technicians and/or Mental Health Technicians. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities related to supervision and management of staff includes interviewing; hiring; training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and proactive corrective action and discipline; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Compliance/HIPAA:
While performing the duties of this job, employee will comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to Easterseals Arkansas.
Employee has access to all client protected health information within his/her program. Employee will not attempt to access any other protected health information unless otherwise approved by Supervisor or Privacy Officer.

Education and/or Experience:
Master’s degree in social work required. Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker Arkansas licensure required. Two (2) years job-related and supervisory experience required. Thee (3) years clinical experience required. Working knowledge of Medicaid and PASSEs preferred. Experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to maneuver, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 200 pounds with assistance (1 or more additional staff members). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
