Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course.
- Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.
- DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified tasks.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.
