Job Description - Licensed Electrical Technician

Talent Consultants is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. You will work on a variety of projects that will challenge your technical skills and allow you to contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical components, including motors, drives, panels, and sensors.
  • Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities in the maintenance management system.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Stay current with advancements in electrical technologies and best practices for safety and efficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in Electrical or Electronics Technology preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an electrical technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with installation and maintenance of electrical components.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices related to electrical work.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • MUST have GA licensed Electrical Technician
