Job Description

The Skin Revitalizing Center at West Michigan Dermatology seeks a licensed esthetician to perform a variety of skincare treatments.  Must be compassionate and discreet, as well as knowledgeable with the latest trends in the skin care industry.  A minimum of two years of experience as an esthetician is a must.

This is a combo position with half time at the front desk in Grandville, and half time will be seeing patients in the Rockford office.

Responsibilities:

• Provides facial esthetic services to our clients in a competent and safe manner.  Examples are: microdermabrasions, DiamondGlow skin infusion treatments, dermaplaning, microneedling and chemical peels.


• Conducts in-depth skincare consultations with clients and offers recommendations for treatments which are compatible with their skin type and desired outcomes.


• Presents a warm and welcoming persona to guests and coworkers alike.


• Maintains knowledge of all available products and demonstrates the ability to confidently make recommendations that are compatible with the needs of our clients.


• Maintains inventory of products and assists with the development of monthly specials and promotional materials.


• Works with the team on the coordination of promotional events throughout the year.


• Actively builds repeat clientele and fosters long lasting relationships with them by providing stellar service.


• Works with the team on collaborations that are shared across all social media platforms.


• Works collaboratively with the medical team and assists providers as needed with offering skin care advice to our patients.


• Learns how to work with our electronic medical record system to document the patient's visit and also to check patients in and out and collect payments.


• Learns of all incentive programs such as Alle and Aspire and works with patients on applying their earned points.


• Works with our reps on various promotions throughout the year. 


• Demonstrates a strong understanding of skin anatomy, as well as a familiarity with most common skin conditions that concern our clients.  


• Maintains professionalism, positivity and helps out whenever needed.

Required Education: High school diploma.  Current esthetician license must be current.

Required Experience: 3 years of experience preferred.  Two years of experience giving skincare facial treatments a must.
