About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Houston. This position is primarily focused on residential electrical work, with occasional light commercial projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades in residential and light commercial settings
   
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions
   
• Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
   
• Bend and install conduit using manual and mechanical pipe benders
   
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local and national electrical codes
   
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites
   
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members
   

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (must provide proof upon request)
   
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
   
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites across the Houston area
   
• Must own a complete set of personal hand tools and pipe benders
   
• Strong understanding of the NEC and local electrical codes
   
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
   
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both new construction and remodeling
   
• Basic understanding of smart home and low-voltage systems
   
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
