Licensed Land Surveyor - Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple survey field crews and office technicians

• Organize, plan, and direct land surveying operations and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations

• Conduct quality control/assurance reviews on project deliverables

• Manage client relationships, budgets, schedules, and billing

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
• Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and business development efforts
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and coaching to survey staff, fostering professional growth and safety practices

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 12+ years of progressive experience in land surveying

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the state of Virginia

• Proficient in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Solid understanding of surveying codes, standards, and jurisdictional regulations
