Overview of the Role:
Join a dynamic civil engineering firm as a Senior Land Surveyor where you'll lead surveying operations, manage multiple field crews, and play a pivotal role in shaping infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership responsibilities while working on diverse projects that impact communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct work of surveyors and technicians
• Manage operations of multiple field crews and ensure quality control
• Prepare legal descriptions and perform complex survey calculations
• Oversee project budgets, billing, and client management
• Lead business development initiatives within the surveying discipline
• Mentor and develop team members through continuous performance management
• Represent the company in client meetings and industry conferences

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 10+ years of experience in professional surveying
• Active Professional Registered Land Surveyor license
• Proficiency in Inroads/Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local surveying regulations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
• Experience with subsurface utility engineering (SUE) preferred
• Familiarity with aerial mapping, LiDAR scanning, and sUAS preferred
