Job Type: Hybrid
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate relationship challenges and improve their mental well-being.
Responsibilities
Conduct therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families to address relationship issues, mental health concerns, and emotional distress.
Diagnose and treat psychological disorders within the context of marriage and family systems.
Develop personalized treatment plans and set therapeutic goals with clients.
Teach conflict resolution, anger management, and stress management skills to couples and family members.
Maintain confidential and accurate client records, documenting progress and treatment plans.
Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and make referrals to additional resources when appropriate.
Participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and research.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
Empathy, compassion, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches and techniques.
Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
