Licensed Massage Therapist (Independently Contracted)

Position Overview & General Responsibilities:
Sunnyside Communities is seeking a licensed massage therapist for our newly renovated spa rooms. This independently contracted position has the flexibility to schedule appointments with residents and staff while building meaningful relationships. Sunnyside will provide and maintain appropriate space and equipment for these services offered to Sunnyside residents, employees, and guests. The Independent Contractor will schedule and implement safe and beneficial services that meet industry standards. Therapists will supply, at their own expense, all skin care products, oils, and lotions used during treatments.

• Anticipate, identify, and ensure that customer needs are met.
• Enjoy working with older adults.
• Build and retain meaningful relationships with residents and staff to create repeat business.
• Maintain a working knowledge of industry trends and products.
• Assist with keeping the facility clean and tidy at all times.
• Manage inventory needs timely and accurate.
• Represent Sunnyside to members and the community professionally and positively.
• Must adhere to all independent contractor Sunnyside policies.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed massage therapist through the Commonwealth of Virginia Dept. of Health Professionals.
• Two years of experience as a licensed massage therapist preferred.
• Ability to maintain client relationships including payment collection and appointment scheduling required.
