Job Description - Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent

Midwest Medicare Solutions is a trusted independent licensed insurance agency specializing in Medicare and Health Insurance Solutions. We are deeply committed to providing clear and accurate guidance to our clients, helping them navigate the often complex insurance landscape while avoiding common misconceptions and late enrollment penalties. Serving clients across Southeast Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, our team understands the regional insurance market and is dedicated to delivering personalized, no-cost, no-obligation, and no-pressure consultations. We are currently seeking a Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to assist clients in understanding their Medicare options, ensuring they make well-informed decisions that best meet their individual needs. Responsibilities

  • Conduct consultations with clients to assess their Medicare and health insurance needs.
  • Explain various Medicare plans, benefits, and coverage options clearly and accurately.
  • Assist clients in selecting appropriate Medicare insurance plans based on their requirements and budget.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare policies, regulations, and changes in the insurance landscape.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide ongoing support and service.
  • Ensure all client information is recorded accurately and confidentially in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Generate and follow up on leads to expand the client base across Southeast Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
  • Active and valid life and health insurance license with the ability to sell Medicare plans.
  • Proven knowledge of Medicare and health insurance products and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for educating and advising clients.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help seniors and individuals understand their insurance options.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Detail-oriented approach to managing client records and documentation.
  • Flexibility to work with clients across various locations including Southeast Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as needed.
