Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Clinician for a full-time, onsite role in California City, California. This position provides clinical mental health services within a detention center environment while supporting coordination of mental health programming within the facility.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Full-time onsite clinical role
• Mental health services within detention center setting
• Involvement in coordination of mental health services within facility

ROLE
• Conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify multidisciplinary treatment plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services
• Document all clinical and evaluation activities in health records
• Administer mental status exams and psychological assessments

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including security and facility staff
• Provide recommendations related to behavioral and mental health needs
• Participate in segregation review panels and treatment planning meetings
• Support discharge planning and reentry coordination
• Maintain strict confidentiality and audit clinical documentation
• Coordinate services with contract personnel as applicable
• Participate in training and emergency response situations as required

CLINICAL ENVIRONMENT
• Structured detention center setting
• Focus on behavioral health stabilization and treatment
• Independent clinical judgment within established policies

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Base Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 (flexible based on experience)
• Potential to exceed range for strong candidates
• Sign-on bonus negotiable

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical field REQUIRED
• Active, unrestricted LCSW, LPC, LPCC, LMHC, or LCMHC license REQUIRED (California)
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience REQUIRED
• At least 1 year in comparable role strongly preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license preferred
