Relational Healing & Integrative Care
Eastside Counseling Center (ECC) | Bellevue, WA

Location: Bellevue, WA (primary office), with hybrid flexibility
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $40–$50 per hour, DOE

About Eastside Counseling Center

At Eastside Counseling Center (ECC), we believe that true healing unfolds at the intersection of mind, body, and spirit—and that therapy is most transformative when it honors the fullness of a person’s humanity and life story.

We serve individuals, couples, and families with compassion, creativity, and collaboration, offering a deeply supportive environment where both clients and clinicians can grow, evolve, and thrive. Our mission is to cultivate safe, inclusive, and nurturing spaces where transformation is not only possible, but inevitable—where healing is rooted in connection, guided by curiosity, and sustained by community.

Clinicians often describe ECC this way:
“ECC has changed my life for the better. I’m a better therapist and a better person because of the relationships, supervision, and consultation I’ve received here. It’s one of the best professional experiences I’ve ever had.”

Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic collective dedicated to reimagining what mental health care can be. Here, your clinical expertise is valued, your creativity is encouraged, and your voice meaningfully shapes an evolving model of care that reaches far beyond traditional therapy. Together, we are redefining mental health as a pathway to wholeness—for our clients, our community, and ourselves.

How We Care for Our Clinicians

At ECC, we believe clinicians do their best work when they are supported as whole people. We intentionally protect time, autonomy, emotional safety, stability, connection, and community, recognizing that sustainable, meaningful clinical work requires space to breathe, reflect, and grow.

Our culture is relational at every level—clients, clinicians, and leadership alike—and grounded in clear expectations, open communication, and shared responsibility.

Position Overview

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) – Child & Adolescent at ECC, you bring clinical expertise in supporting children and teens navigating emotional, behavioral, developmental, and relational challenges. You understand the importance of developmental context, family dynamics, school systems, and peer relationships in shaping a young person’s mental health.

This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families; who are comfortable collaborating with caregivers, schools, and other providers; and who value integrative, relational, and developmentally attuned care.

You will be part of a connected, engaged team that values dialogue, shared learning, and genuine professional relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to children and adolescents, and family sessions as clinically indicated

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and collaborate with clients and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans

  • Support children and teens in building emotional regulation skills, strengthening coping strategies, navigating peer and family dynamics, and improving self-esteem

  • Partner with parents and caregivers to provide psychoeducation, guidance, and support for behavioral and relational challenges

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards

  • Participate in weekly case consultation and monthly team meetings designed to support clinical quality, growth, and connection

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, and integrative practitioners, as appropriate

  • Adhere to Washington State LMHC licensure requirements, professional ethics, and scope of practice

  • Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and licensure maintenance

Our Approach to Growth, Feedback, and Collaboration

We believe growth happens best in environments that are both safe and structured. ECC prioritizes constant, transparent communication with clear expectations, creating space for clinicians to ask questions, voice needs, offer feedback, and make recommendations.

We support this through:

  • Regular team dialogue and consultation

  • Quarterly check-ins

  • Annual clinician surveys

Growth at ECC incorporates individual voices while remaining grounded in organizational stability—allowing both clinicians and the practice to expand thoughtfully and sustainably.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State

  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience preferred (but not required)

  • Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting

  • Experience collaborating with families and caregivers

  • Proficiency with DSM-5-TR or ICD-11 diagnostic frameworks

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with diverse populations

  • Proficiency in EHR systems

  • Ability to transition an existing caseload or openness to building a sustainable caseload within a group practice setting

  • Ability to provide telehealth services (preferred)

Who Thrives at ECC

Therapists who thrive at ECC enjoy being part of a connected, collaborative team and value engaging relationally with colleagues—not just clients. They are developmentally attuned, grounded in evidence-based practices, comfortable partnering with families, and interested in contributing to a shared professional community rather than practicing in isolation.

What We Offer

  • $40–$50/hour, DOE

  • 80% medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees

  • Paid supervision and professional consultation

  • 401(k), life insurance, paid sick leave

  • Paid time off and paid holidays for full-time employees

  • Hybrid schedule options

  • Comprehensive clinical, administrative, and operational support, including front desk, office management, billing, credentialing, and scheduling

  • Comfortable, welcoming office spaces in Bellevue and Kirkland

  • Opportunities for advancement and leadership development within a collaborative team

  • Ongoing education and training to stay current with developments in mental health care

  • Opportunities to co-facilitate or lead groups and design specialized offerings aligned with your clinical interests

Join Us

If you value depth over speed, relationship over isolation, and collaboration over hierarchy—and want to practice in a setting that honors mind, body, and soul for both clients and clinicians—ECC may feel like home. We’d love to explore that possibility with you.
