Licensed Therapist – Small Family-Owned Private Practice

Location: San Jose, CA | Primarily In-Person with Hybrid Flexibility
Compensation: $70–$85/hour W2 | 401(k) with Match | Paid Sick Time | CE Opportunities | Paid Administrative Time

We are seeking a Licensed Therapist (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to join our small, family-owned group private practice in San Jose. The Role

You’ll provide evidence-based, compassionate psychotherapy to a diverse client population experiencing a range of mental health concerns. The caseload is primarily in-person, with some telehealth available and flexibility to create a hybrid schedule.

Documentation is expected to be timely and thorough, but the practice is intentionally structured to reduce unnecessary administrative demands and protect therapists from the burnout often associated with high-volume clinical environments.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Holds an active California license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC


• Has 3–5+ years of clinical experience


• Uses a trauma-informed, insight-oriented approach


• Enjoys providing deeper, meaningful therapy rather than simply moving clients through a high-volume caseload


• Is comfortable treating a range of populations and mental health conditions


• Values both clinical independence and collaboration


• Has EMDR training
