Drivers license.
May be required to work non-traditional hours.
Must have physical stamina for prolonged standing and tasks such as lifting, transferring, and transporting residents.
Experience in long-term or geriatric care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification.
One year of experience as an LNA or other medical professional.
Demonstrated competency to mentor new LNAs.
Satisfactory performance evaluation within the past 12 months.
Completion of all mandatory training.
Recommendation from supervisor and approval from nursing leadership.
Equivalent combination of one year of education and experience after high school.

Monitors and records vital signs, intake/output, and collects specimens.
Reports changes in resident condition.
Stocks and distributes supplies and PPE.
Follows infection control and safety protocols.
Maintains cleanliness in resident areas.
Prepares residents for appointments.
Demonstrates empathy and maintains positive communication.
Participates in training and team meetings.
Exercises some independent judgment in care delivery.
Assists with ADLs and ensures dietary needs are met.
Provides mobility assistance and coordinates transport.
Performs treatment procedures within LNA scope.
Participates in Plan of Care meetings and coordinates with healthcare professionals.
Documents care and monitors vital signs and intake/output.
Screens for medical issues and collects specimens.
Mentors new nursing assistants.
Manages supply inventory and reports equipment issues.
Maintains infection control standards and cleanliness.
Demonstrates empathy and maintains positive resident communication.
Participates in training, meetings, and committees.
