We are seeking a qualified and experienced Optometrist to join our team in Nassau County, NY, for conducting Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). This flexible, per diem opportunity is ideal for optometrists who are looking to apply their expertise in a non-clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Medical Records: Carefully assess and interpret medical documents related to vision care and ocular health.
• Conduct Eye Examinations: Perform in-person evaluations to assess visual function, ocular injuries, or other conditions relevant to IME cases.
• Answer Clinical Inquiries: Provide clear and objective responses to clinical questions posed by insurance carriers or legal representatives.
• Prepare IME Reports: Deliver timely and comprehensive written reports (within 5 business days) based on your findings.
