Licensed Practical Nurse

Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN Nurse to join our Urology team. As an LPN Nurse in Urology, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting physicians with procedures, and educating patients and their families on urological conditions and treatments.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Educate patients and their families on urological conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements

Requirements:

- Active LPN license in good standing

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in urology or a related field

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of urological conditions, treatments, and procedures

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in Florida
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred
• Urology experience desired

Must have knowledge of healthcare field and medical specialty, medical terminology, knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures, working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred and proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Computer skills: Electronic Health Records, Outlook email, Windows, Microsoft Word, On-line Insurance Carrier websites
