General Summary: A non-exempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties. Involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling environmental and organizational tasks. Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. The LPN functions within the scope of practice as defined by the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
Reports to: Nursing Manager
Job Supervisory Responsibilities: The LPN may assume some duties of the office clinical staff with the oversight of an RN or physician.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Equipment Operated: Standard nursing equipment and supplies including B/P machine, thermometer, oxygen tank, AED, syringes, pulse oximetry unit, Abbott ID NOW COVID instrument, and computer.
Work Environment: Nurse's office and medical exam/treatment rooms. Controlled lighting, air quality and temperature settings. Environmental hazards may be unpredictable including exposure to communicable diseases and biohazards.

Mental and Physical Requirements: Involves standing, walking, bending, grasping, manipulating and squatting. Occasional need to lift patient during transfer/turn process with or without assistance.
