KidneySPA Renal Health Specialists is on the lookout for a passionate, experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with at least 1 year of dialysis experience to join our team! As a Dialysis LPN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease—making a difference in their lives every single day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This is a highly responsible and rewarding nursing position where your expertise in nephrology care will shine. You’ll be expected to demonstrate both technical clinical skills and the ability to lead and support your fellow staff members in providing top-tier outpatient hemodialysis services.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Patient Care & Oversight

• Assigns daily patient care responsibilities based on acuity and staff experience 
• Rounds on all patients to ensure prescribed treatment is being delivered 
• Performs Pre-Admission Nursing Assessments and participates in patient intake
• Completes Comprehensive Assessments and Reassessments as required
• Contributes to QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) efforts
• Develops and updates Plans of Care in accordance with regulations
• Coordinates interdisciplinary care conferences and planning
• Oversees dialysis adequacy, vascular access, infection control, vaccinations, and more
• Maintains complete and accurate medical records in line with federal and state guidelines
   

Clinical Expertise

• Initiates, monitors, and terminates dialysis treatments
• Performs patient assessments pre- and post-treatment
• Reviews and acts on lab results promptly
• Administers medications per MD orders
• Adheres strictly to infection control protocols
• Manages BP, weight changes, access patency, and treatment parameters
• Provides wound care and access site maintenance using aseptic techniques
• Ensures safe and compliant patient transfers (e.g., hospitalizations or other units)
• Performs monthly medication reviews for all dialysis patients 

 What We’re Looking For:

• Current LPN license in the State of Georgia, meeting all practice, CEU, and certification requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hemodialysis
• Current CPR certification (must be unexpired)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
• Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and confident working independently or with a team
