Why You’ll Love This Role
As a Full-Time LPN, you’ll be a key part of our nursing team, providing hands-on care and supporting wellness programs that enhance the lives of our residents. You’ll work closely with RNs, fellow nursing staff, and residents’ families to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.
Sign on bonus: $2,000 paid out at quarterly intervals over the first year. Must be in good standing during the quarter with attendance and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead with Compassion: Engage with residents daily, offering care, support, and meaningful interactions.
- Care Planning: Review and update individualized care plans to meet resident needs and comply with state regulations.
- Medication Management: Safely oversee medication setup, administration, and documentation.
- Support & Supervision: Assist RNs in supervising nursing staff and evaluating performance.
- Wellness Programs: Implement and manage programs that promote health, prevention, and quality of life.
- Resident Assessment & Admissions: Help assess new residents and coordinate their care during the admission process.
- Staff Training: Orient and educate staff on wellness procedures, policies, and in-service training sessions.
- Risk & Emergency Management: Identify at-risk residents, develop risk management plans, and respond to emergencies.
- Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
What We’re Looking For
- License: Valid LPN license in the state of North Dakota.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with seniors, including knowledge of age-related health factors.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of medications, dosages, terminology, and side effects; excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Qualities: Integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and a compassionate approach to care.
