The Manteo Community Health Center is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

What you'll do:

• Obtain, verify, and record patient health histories.
• Perform physical assessments and collect biological samples.
• Collect specimens for lab analysis.
• Provide basic patient care as directed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist healthcare professionals with exams, procedures, and minor medical tasks.
• Follow infection control, safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
• Document assessments, interventions, responses, and test results in patient records.
• Educate patients on wellness and communicate physician instructions.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of LPN experience; clinic experience preferred.
• Current state licensure as a nurse.
• Ability to initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
• Proficient in performing blood draws.
• Strong skills in calculating drug dosages.
