LPN - The Grove - IMPOWER's Adolescent Substance Misuse Program

Location: Winter Springs

Pay: Starting at $23.00/hr. (More for relevant experience & education above what is required)

Job: Part-Time / Non-Exempt

Shift: Thursdays and possibly some Saturdays and Sundays

We’re looking for a caring, detail-oriented LPN to join our crew. If you thrive in a team environment, love working with teens, and want to use your nursing skills to do good, this might be the perfect fit.

What you’ll actually be doing (besides being awesome):

• Providing direct nursing care to teens 
• Helping with admissions: vitals, assessments, labs – all the good stuff
• Screening for things like TB, colds, earaches, or the mysterious "I don’t feel good"
• Giving meds, following physician orders, and documenting it all like a pro
• Talking to doctors, families, and staff so everyone stays on the same page
• Prepping meds, handling pharmacy coordination, and keeping things running smoothly
• Teaching teens important health topics (yes, they really do listen sometimes!)
• Following HIPAA, infection control, and all the other rules that keep us safe

What you bring to the table:

• Florida LPN License (active and in good standing)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Calm, compassionate, and a great communicator
• Background check, drug screen, clean driving record (you know the drill)

Bonus points if you:

•  Have experience working in residential treatment or with teens
• Can manage a little chaos with a smile
• Believe in second chances and fresh starts
