Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

About the Opportunity
Workfit Medical Staffing is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 10-week contract assignment with Rochester Gynecologic & Obstetric Associates, P.C. This role is ideal for LPNs who enjoy women’s health, want to expand their OB/GYN experience, or are looking for a short-term opportunity in a supportive outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer clinical phone lines; provide guidance, schedule appointments, or relay messages following protocols
• Room patients and collect vital signs
• Administer injections as ordered by providers
• Document clinical information in the EMR
• Stock exam rooms, prepare procedure trays, and sterilize instruments
• Log and process specimens with accurate requisitions
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA regulations
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
• Support physicians and staff in providing excellent patient care

Contract Details

• 10-week contract through Workfit Medical Staffing
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends/holidays)

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New York State (required)
• Clinical triage experience preferred
• OB/GYN office experience a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and assist with lifting patients if needed
