Meridian HealthCare in Youngstown, OH is looking to hire full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work in our inpatient treatment program. Are you passionate about providing excellent nursing care? If so, please read on!

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

We currently have day and night shift available. These positions typically work 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am. Our Licensed Practical Nurses also work a weekend and holiday rotation.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working in our inpatient treatment program, you assist in providing healthcare to patients suffering from addiction. Working within our Detox and Residential treatment programs, you perform Vital Signs, Medical Histories, Intakes, and Nursing Assessments. You also help with patient education and health teaching techniques relative to patient care. Patients appreciate your friendly demeanor as you treat them with empathy and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DAY SHIFT LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

· Current Ohio L.P.N. Nursing License

· C.P.R. Certification or willing to complete certification

· Knowledge of Chemical Dependency preferred
