Location: Kissimmee Youth Academy 

Job Type: Full-Time 
Pay: $30.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available.

Youth receive individualized treatment based on their needs, participating in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as life skills training, restorative justice practices, victim impact awareness, and pre-vocational preparation. Licensed professionals provide 24/7 care in small group living units, and a licensed dietitian oversees nutritional support to promote stabilization and successful reintegration into the community.

Position Summary – LPN Job in Crestview, FL

We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Kissimmee, Florida. LPN Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects


• Conduct intake physical health assessments and screenings


• Document medical histories and maintain accurate health records


• Provide basic first aid and support emergency medical situations


• Collaborate with doctors, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health staff


• Communicate with guardians, case managers, and outside agencies


• Ensure compliance with state health regulations and treatment protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Florida


• Current CPR/BLS certification


• Ability to pass background check and drug screen


• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills


• Willingness to work with youth in challenging situations

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years working in behavioral health, pediatrics, or juvenile residential care


• Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention


• Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation standards

Other Requirements

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds and provide necessary physical services to clients. Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state and to the extent that knowledge is attainable under the law. Must be able to transport clients.

• Other: Must maintain an appropriate and valid state driver’s license. Must meet state criminal background check requirements.
