Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Assisted Living 5000 Bonus

Lake Ridge Assisted Living & Park View Assisted Living, two welcoming Cassia communities in Buffalo, MN are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team! In this unique float role, you’ll have the opportunity to support both campuses—located just steps apart—collaborating with dedicated teams to ensure exceptional resident care.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lake Ridge Assisted Living & Park View Assisted Living, you'll provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health as well as monitor nursing personnel during assigned shift. Position Type: Full-Time (32 hours) with limited on-call. Will float between both sites, Lake Ridge Assisted Living and Park View Assisted Living.

Shifts Available: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Wage Range: $29 - $35 / hour depending on experience

Bonus: $5,000

Lake Ridge Assisted Living Location: 310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313
Park View Assisted Living Location: 613 Montrose Blvd, Buffalo, MN 55313

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
• Does admissions, assessments, and discharges.

• Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have current MN LPN license.
• Current BLS certification required. 
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
