The Medical Surgical Department at North Alabama Shoals Hospital offers LPNS a supportive, patient-focused environment where teamwork and high-quality care are at the center of everything they do. Nurses care for a diverse patient population, build strong clinical skills, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams in a department that values professional growth, compassion, and meaningful patient connections.

How you’ll contribute   

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:  

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies  medical surgical needs 
• Perform post operative assessments
• Perform wound care
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record 
• Multidisciplinary Collaborations 

Schedule: PRN- Nights

What we’re looking for :

Applicants should have a current state LPN license. Additional requirements include: 

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.
• Requires one year of nursing experience.
