BayCare Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Green Bay. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday–Friday, between 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. No Holidays! No Weekends!

We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base.  Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound.

The Job: 



  • Performs patient treatments as ordered by the physician.

  • Clinic will work to have LPN certified on laser treatments

  • Collects and documents patient information in a thorough and consistent manner.

  • Under the direction of a professional nurse, participates in executing the plan of care as established by the nurse, doctor, or physician assistant.

  • Assists in collecting vital sign information.

  • Provides appropriate teaching materials, and assists in providing accurate answers to questions, all in support of patient and family.

  • Assists in the performance of any physician ordered pre-operative treatment/tests as well as the pre-operative preparation of the patient.

  • Assists in the post-operative execution of physician orders.

  • Directs test results to physicians for review.

  • Accurately documents assessment of information including patient needs.

  • Coordinates and evaluates the appropriate patient plan of care with physician.

  • Ensures the plan of care is consistent and individualized to each patient, is evaluated in a consistent and timely manner, is properly documented and is updated as patient needs change.

  • Educates family members in plan of care for patients.

  • Schedules and carries out patient follow up calls when appropriate and returns patient phone calls in a timely manner.

  • Provides patient education as needed.

  • Assists with minor office procedures.

  • Occasionally provides surgical assist services to the physician surgeon(s) as needed and indicated by the Clinic department in office only.

  • Accurately obtains scheduling information including procedure, type of anesthesia, length of stay, and patient demographics.

  • Communicates with hospital staff regarding scheduling and pre-admission testing.

  • Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times. 

  • Respects and maintains confidentiality.


The Requirements:



  • Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or Vocational Nursing program.

  • Must hold a valid LPN license to practice in the state where practice occurs.

  • 6 months – 1 year related experience preferred.

  • Must be computer literate. Experience in EPIC preferred.
