Under the immediate supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor, the LPN is responsible for the administration and documentation of medications and treatments.
Essential Functions
Administers and documents oral, IM, or suppository medications
Performs and documents all treatments
Assesses residents for possible need of medication and/or treatment interventions
Informs Clinical Manager of any significant change in residents' condition
Orders and stores medication
Maintains clean and neat medication cart and room
Assists Clinical Manager with admissions, discharges, and charting
Participates in all facility trainings and meetings

Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
Confidentiality – Ability to maintain confidentiality of written and spoken word.
Skills and Abilities
Education:Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN school of nursing and certification of competence in medication administration.
Certifications and Licenses: Current CPR and First Aid cards, Fingerprint clearance card, current TB test. Current LPN license by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Computer Skills: Competent in the use of email and electronic medical records.
