Licensed Practical Nurse - Women's Health

A minimum patient base of 1,000 to 3,000 patients is served, and an average of 20 - 50 patients are seen each day. The clinical staff will assist providers with patient care that includes, but is not limited to order entry, reporting, phone calls, clerical, and organizational tasks, and related duties. As directed by the provider, this position must be able to independently perform procedures which may include venipuncture, administration of injections, pulmonary function tests, ear irrigations, ultra sound therapy, muscle stimulation, hot/cold packs, EKGs, breathing treatment, x-rays, lab testing, holtor monitoring, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests. This position may also assist provider/s with surgical and medical procedures, e.g. minor wound repair, foreign body removals, etc 1. 8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. 9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law. 2. Licensed Practical Nurse applicants must successfully have completed a practical nursing and pharmacology program and maintain current state licensure with CNE requirements 3.
