Job Description - Licensed Practical X-ray Technologist Orthopedic Clinic - PT

Perfect opportunity for Second year LPT student soon to be testing for RRT. 


Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm / NO HOLIDAYS / NO CALL

Position Summary: Our busy orthopedic offices in American Fork and Saratoga Springs are in need of a full time Registered X-ray Tech who is interested in being part of a great team.


 


Essential Job Functions:



  • Proficient in orthopedic specialty views and competent in other radiological views.

  • Record patient health history and process all patient information properly.

  • Communicate results to ordering physicians. 

  • Facilitate quality patient care.

  • Verify patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential.

  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. 

  • Keep exam rooms clean and patient ready.

  • Keep digital equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. 

  • Serve and protect the medical practice by adhering to clinic and professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. 

  • Other duties as assigned


 


Qualifications:



  • Must be a Registered X-ray Technologist or registered within 6 months of hire. 

  • Able to demonstrate competency in all orthopedic procedures and routine radiologic views.

  • Must have exceptional customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to work well on a team and individually.


 


Hours:


 Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8-5. Looking for someone who can work 3-4 days a week: days and location TBD.
