Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to provide behavioral health services in a secure clinical setting in Corcoran, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-call crisis services and emergency consultations during scheduled workdays
• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including assessments of substance use and criminal history
• Evaluate and manage suicide risk, ensuring clinical accuracy and proper documentation
• Deliver psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and therapeutic interviews, including in challenging environments
• Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders
• Develop treatment plans, write clinical summaries, and consult on complex patient cases
• Maintain accurate and ethical clinical documentation and ensure compliance with reporting standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and care teams, contributing to coordinated, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 12 continuous months of LPCC experience within the last 3 years providing direct patient care
• Education: Masters Degree in Counseling or a related field
• Licensure: Valid LPCC license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (hard copy required)
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Identification: Valid Photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport
