Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on-call crisis response services and emergency mental health consultations
• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including substance abuse and criminal history assessments
• Accurately assess suicide risk and maintain precise documentation
• Provide crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and clinical interviews in both standard and high-pressure environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders
• Prepare clinical reports, develop treatment plans, and advise on complex mental health cases
• Maintain accurate records, monitor treatment progress, and uphold ethical and legal standards
• Offer clinical recommendations and communicate effectively with patients and care teams

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: At least 12 continuous months of LPCC experience within the last 3 years in a clinical setting
• Education: Masters Degree in Counseling or related behavioral science field
• Licensure: Active LPCC license from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
• Certification: Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Identification: Valid Drivers License or Passport
