Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) OR Provisional LPC

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or provisionally licensed professional counselor (Master's degree earned) for a part-time position serving adults and older adults in a busy practice in St. Louis. The ideal candidate has experience working with older adults (preferred), diverse populations, utilizing virtual psychotherapy, and implementing cognitive behavioral therapy.

Required Skills:

• Master's degree in social work or professional counseling.
• Licensed in Missouri as an LPC OR Provisional License as an LPC
• Knowledge of the theory and practice of counseling and basic research skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, other health care professionals, and culturally diverse patients.

Preferred Experience:

· Varied clinical experience

· Experience in delivering trauma-informed care preferred

· Experience in psychosocial assessment and delivery of culturally competent care

· The ideal candidate will also already be credentialed with Medicaid and Medicare.
