Job Description - Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)




Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) to provide onsite psychological services at a residential care facility in Washington County, Texas. The ideal candidate will assist with behavioral assessments and therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements:



• Master’s degree in Psychology



• Active Texas license as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)



• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience under supervision



• AHA CPR certification and recent negative TB test



• Background and fingerprint clearance



• Must be at least 18 years of age







Clinical Responsibilities



• Assist in conducting psychological evaluations and behavioral assessments.



• Support development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.



• Provide therapeutic services under supervision of a licensed psychologist.



• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.



• Document and report services provided accurately and timely.



• Provide all clinical services under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist.







Administrative Responsibilities



• Complete all required orientation and training programs.



• Adhere to confidentiality policies, including annual AUA acknowledgment.



• Submit licensure and training records upon request.



• Obtain written authorization for services rendered outside regular hours.



• Comply with clinical documentation and regulatory guidelines.
