Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Licensed Psychologist for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Appleton, Minnesota. This position provides psychological assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and ongoing mental health services within a correctional setting. The Psychologist works as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team caring for an incarcerated patient population.

COMPENSATION
• $180,952-$190,000
• Full Relocation Package

ROLE
• Conduct Psychological Screenings And Assessments Through Record Review And Clinical Interviews
• Develop, Implement And Modify Individual Treatment Plans Based On Patient Needs And Level Of Functioning
• Provide Psychological Treatment And Counseling
• Conduct Regular Rounds In Segregation And Other Confined Housing Areas To Assess Adjustment And Mental Health Treatment Needs
• Provide Mental Health Assessments, Counseling And Confrontation-Avoidance Interventions For Individuals In Crisis
• Collaborate With Psychiatrists, Mental Health Providers, Physicians, Nurses And Social Workers
• Consult With Medical, Educational, Chaplain, Security And Other Staff As Applicable
• Help Ensure Treatment Activities Are Integrated And Patient Care Follow-Through Occurs
• Assess Changes In Mental Health Conditions And Escalating Behaviors
• Provide Timely Clinical Guidance During After-Hours Incidents And Emergencies

Requirements
• Doctoral Degree In Psychology From An Accredited College Or University REQUIRED
• Current Unrestricted Minnesota License To Practice Psychology REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 Years Of Clinical Experience REQUIRED
• At Least 1 Year Of Clinical Experience In A Comparable Position REQUIRED
• Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
• Must Be At Least 21 Years Of Age REQUIRED
• Willing And Able To Work Onsite In A Correctional / Detention Center Housing Both Males And Females REQUIRED
• Willing And Able To Provide Timely Clinical Guidance During After-Hours Incidents And Emergencies REQUIRED
