Job Description - Licensed Veterinary Technician

The Virginia Veterinary Center in Fredericksburg, VA is hiring a full- time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding team! We offer generous sign on bonuses for Credentialed Veterinary Technicians!

If you enjoy being the first to see and treat patients, as well as use your technical skills in more advanced ways, Virginia Veterinary Center is the place to be!

Anticipated Schedule:

7pm - 7am
Three 12-hour shifts
Two 12-hour on call shifts per month
Weekend shifts required

Compensation:

Competitive compensation which is based on experience & skill level. $32 -38/hr.
We offer a shift differential for overnight shifts.

About You:

Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.)  
You can easily adapt to the different needs of each patient and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.
