The Role: Licensed Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician

As a Licensed Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician, you will work closely with our rehabilitation specialist to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of conditions. This role blends your clinical skill set with client interaction, patient advocacy, and hands-on treatment implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with and implement rehabilitation treatments including underwater treadmill, massage, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, PRP and BMAC preparation
  • Organize and administer anesthesia under DVM supervision
  • Create and maintain individualized patient treatment plans and records
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, including treatment demonstrations and updates
  • Perform advanced nursing duties: phlebotomy, medication administration (PO, IM, SQ, IV), anesthesia monitoring
  • Participate in department management tasks such as ordering, equipment maintenance, and coordinating procedures
  • Train and mentor new team members, students, and interns
  • Work closely with referring veterinarians to coordinate care and ensure continuity

Schedule

This is a full-time position.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM 

Compensation

  • Starting at $28/hr, commensurate with experience and licensure

Requirements

  • LVT/CVT/RVT      licensure in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and animal behavior
  • Experience with anesthesia, advanced nursing care, and client communication
  • Ability to lift 35–45 lbs and assist with larger patients
  • Excellent teamwork, organizational, and time-management skills
  • A positive attitude and a passion for helping pets live their best lives
