Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Premier Health Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Desert Hot Springs. The LVN will play a crucial role in providing nursing care and support to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being during the treatment process. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and assist in the admission, discharge, and welcoming process for residents.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and monitor self-administration of medications and treatments.
• Assess detoxification levels using CIWA and COWS, monitoring for over-sedation or medical emergencies.
• Respond to emergencies and take action according to company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, healthcare practitioners, and other staff regarding resident care.
• Ensure resident compliance with facility rules and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid LVN License in the state of California.
• Newly graduated LVNs with some clinical nursing practice experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in substance abuse treatment is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
