Life Premium Finance Case Coordinator

Responsible for gathering case documentation, collateral tracking, pre- and post-closing loan review, and pipeline management for the Life Premium Finance division. Incumbent participates in division strategy and case discussions with VP, Life Premium Finance and Portfolio Manager. All other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

·       Gather case documentation for trust and business borrowers, which include communication with advisory offices throughout the US, completion of Life Premium Finance application and obtaining necessary financial information.

·       Track collateral by obtaining and maintaining the following:

.       Verification from the carrier 60 days prior to premium due date

.       Life Insurance Assignment from the carrier

.       Control Agreement for securities accounts

.       Ameris Bank deposit assignment

.       Letters of Credit

·       Maintain documentation and communication for all new and closed cases

·       Responsible for reviewing documents for accuracy in pre- and post-closing loan review

·       Responsible for outgoing wires (accuracy and funding breakdown to carriers and advisory firms)

·       Maintain case pipeline reports

·       Participate in weekly pipeline review meetings, including division strategy and case discussions. (Responsible for preparing agenda and maintain notes of tops and issues discussed.)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

·       Goal-oriented, self-starter possessing excellent communication and presentation skills.

·       Strong relationship building skills with internal and external clients.

·       Must possess confidence on the phone and excellent listening/probing skills.

·       Comprehensive knowledge of life insurance, practices, and procedures.

·       Must possess positive, flexible attitude with ability to accept, create and manage change.

·       Ability to work well with others and function well as a member of a team.

Industry and Work Experience:

·       3+ years of industry experience preferred, or 5+ years’ customer service and team/project management

Academic:

·       GED or High School Diploma required

·       Bachelor’s Degree required
